Back Squat (Week 4 – Deload)

– Welcome to week four, this is a de-load week.
– Use a weight in each set so that you can maintain solid technique with very little deviation. This loading will vary for each athlete.
– Even though this is a de-load week, a spotter is always a good idea. If you are alone, be sure not to push to failure and be smart about the load you are lifting
Metcon (5 Rounds for time ↓ shorter is better)
On a 2:30 clock:
20 front squats (95/65 lb)
12 burpees over the bar
On a 2:30 clock:
16 front squats (135/95 lb)
12 burpees over the bar
On a 2:30 clock:
12 front squats (185/125 lb)
12 burpees over the bar
On a 2:30 clock:
8 front squats (205/135lb)
12 burpees over the bar
On a 2:30 clock:
4 front squats (225/145 lb)
12 burpees over the bar
– Rest the remainder of each 2:30 window.
– Record your time for each couple
